Research Professorships
T
wo research professors carry out our long-term project Jews in German-speaking academia in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Ulrich Charpa and Ute Deichmann undertake research, organise workshops and conferences, and prepare publications.


Leo Baeck Fellowship Programme
In cooperation with the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes, the Leo Baeck Institute organises an International Research Scholarship Programme for doctoral and postdoctoral students of history and culture of German-speaking Jewry in Central Europe.
The programme is supported by Fonds "Erinnerung und Zukunft", the Alfred Freiherr von Oppenheim Stiftung, the Fritz Thyssen Stiftung and the Robert Bosch Stiftung.

Leonor Michaelis Fellowship
Fellowship programme for doctoral or postdoctoral students researching developments in one of the following disciplines: biology, chemistry, history, classical philology, philosophy, physics, theoretical medicine.
